Yes, we can reproduce photographs on to material, though this may attract an additional processing fee. Please contact us for further details. As an example, if we are arranging several photographs, where each requires different enlargements/reductions in a complex arrangement, then this is likely to add to artwork costs. However, we really DO minimise our artwork costs.
All customised work requires a prepaid deposit before we can begin any work. Deposits paid are then subtracted from the final invoice total due. We will send an invoice either with your finished printed order, or by post, shortly after you have received delivery of your order. Our TERMS are strictly within 28 days of the invoice date. Please note we do not take payment by credit cards, so all payments must be made by cheque or bank transfer.
Yes. We keep your design, which makes reprints easy to order. Please check here for minimum quantities and prices.
For initial discussion of your idea, please contact us. However, if you already have finished artwork, this should be in BLACK (or greyscale in the case of photographs), and in proportion to the finished print area, which, for Tea Towels is 28” x 17”.
High quality artwork can be submitted electronically on a disc for optimum quality and resolution. If you are unsure about resolution, please contact our Graphics Department for further advice. We can open most file extensions including JPEG, TIFF, EPS, PSD etc. PDF files are increasingly used because high quality artwork can then be compressed to a very small file size for sending by email.
If you wish Art Screen Prints to originate your artwork, please send us original photographs, drawings or sketches. When sending artwork BY POST it is advisable to pack it flat between two sheets of rigid, or semi-rigid card.
We always send a free A4 paper proof, for your approval, prior to printing. This can be posted or emailed to you.
We can also supply a three-quarter size paper proof at an additional charge of £7.50 + VAT. Fabric proofs can also be sent, but these are at an additional cost of £15 + VAT.
Yes. If necessary we can assist with the layout of your artwork by supplying mock-ups from your sketches. This service assumes that a deposit has been paid.
Yes, but as the majority of our products are for fundraising, the additional benefit of a multicolour design does not outweigh the additional expenditure that will be deducted from funds raised, in our experience. Some of the most successful designs we have printed have been, without doubt, a single colour image.
Additional costs: EACH EXTRA COLOUR incurs a £30 screen origination charge, PLUS 20p per print, per colour for all of our products except aprons and heavyweight shopper bags which are 30p per print, per colour.
